Truck Chief

Rackley WAR is seeking an experienced and performance-driven NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Truck Chief to lead the preparation and execution of its full-time NASCAR #26 Truck.
The Truck Chief serves as the primary technical lead responsible for ensuring the truck is built, maintained, and presented to the highest performance standards in both the shop and at the track. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees truck preparation in the shop, manages mechanics, and implements changes from engineers.
• Manages truck setup, tech inspection, and adjustments during practice/qualifying while at the racetrack.
• Responsible for the truck's integrity and adherence to NASCAR rules and team standards at all times.

About Rackley WAR

Rackley WAR is a professional, data-driven motorsports team based in Mooresville, NC. The team fields the full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series #26, as well as a part-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series #27.

At the same time, they operate a nationally competitive Asphalt Pro and Super Late Model program competing in more than 60 races annually from Coast to Coast.

This role comes with the possibility of traveling with and crewing our Late Model teams when the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is not racing.
