Position: General Manager USA (Motorsport & Performance Engineering)

Overview

We are recruiting a General Manager USA for one of our clients, an international industrial group specialized in high-precision mechanical and transmission systems
, serving motor sport
, performance automotive and high-technology industrial applications, recognized as a leader in its field.

Based in Mooresville, Nort h Carolina
, at the heart of the US motor sport ecosystem, you will play a key role in leading
, structuring and developing the Group’s US operations, while contributing to its long-term strategic ambitions in North America.
Responsibilities

As head of the US subsidiary, you are responsible for the overall performance and development of the American operations, combining operational leadership
, commercial development and strategic contribution
.

You pilot the daily operations of the subsidiary, oversee its commercial, financial and organizational performance, and ensure alignment with Group priorities. You lead and develop a local team of five people
, fostering clarity, structure and engagement in a highly technical environment.

As the main representative of the Group in the US, you act as a key interface for strategic customers and major development projects
, intervening directly on high-value opportunities within motor sport and adjacent performance-driven segments. In a market driven by expertise rather than traditional sales, you build long-term relationships based on credibility
, trust and technical understanding
.

In close collaboration with the Group’s headquarters, you actively contribute to the definition and execution of the US strategy
, including the potential evolution of the subsidiary’s scope, diversification beyond motor sport and reflection around future industrial footprint or external growth opportunities.
Qualifications

You have a technical or engineering background (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or equivalent), enabling you to understand complex products and highly technical environments
.

You bring solid experience in an industrial and technical context, within motor sport or performance automotive mechanical systems, with strong exposure to business development and leadership responsibilities. You are familiar with the North American market and its ecosystems, and have an established network within motor sport or performance-driven industries.

You are comfortable operating in an international and multicultural environment
, working closely with global teams and headquarters.

You speak English fluently; proficiency in French is a strong asset.
