Sales Manager

Compensation: $90,000 to $150,000 Annually

About the Role:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives. This role requires leading and motivating a sales team to achieve and exceed sales volume targets through outside sales efforts and strong customer relationship management. The Sales Manager will design and implement comprehensive sales plans and incentive programs to maximize team performance and market penetration. Success in this position will be measured by the ability to consistently increase sales revenue, expand the customer base, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Sales Manager will play a critical role in shaping the sales culture and ensuring sustainable business growth across assigned territories within the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding regional sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies, sales planning, and sales incentive programs.
  • Experience managing outside sales teams and driving successful sales initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company’s products or services.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Professional sales certifications such as Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales volume targets.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage outside sales activities, including client visits, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Create and monitor sales plans and incentive programs to motivate the sales force.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management review.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
