LEGACY MOTOR CLUB™ is a professional motor racing club fielding two full-time entries in the NASCAR Cup Series for John Hunter Nemechek and Erik Jones. The Club is based in Statesville, N.C, and co-owned by entrepreneur Maury Gallagher and seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson. NASCAR Hall of famer Richard Petty “The King” is a Club Ambassador.

LEGACY Motor Club is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Shop Foreman to join our team. The Shop Foreman is responsible for the overall output and productivity of our shop. This is a hands-on position. Successful candidates should be able to perform the essential job functions listed below.

Essential Job Functions:

· Responsible for implementing LEGACY M.C. car build schedule and accountable for the entire shop meeting timelines and milestone events (races/tests)

· Supervise the work of all shop personnel - you will be accountable for the overall work productivity of each subsystem department (Assembly, Suspension, Driveline, etc)

· Maintain vendor relationships and work closely with LEGACY M.C. parts manager to coordinate ordering and updates to vehicles based off specifications

· Accurately reference and utilize all NASCAR and vendor technical documentation and communications to disseminate to Cup shop personnel

· Allocate work assignments to shop personnel

· Train shop personnel in the correct procedures and techniques for product assembly

· Create vehicle assembly processes that deliver required quality and maximum efficiency

· Hands-on participation in vehicle builds and shop work

· Ensure all personnel keep the shop environment organized and tools properly maintained

· Maintains safe work environment and ensures all personnel follow proper safety procedures

Job Qualifications:

· High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.

· Experience: 2 plus years in a Shop Foreman or supervisory role

· Computer Skills: Basic computer skills

Other Requirements:

o Possess a personality that can motivate, mentor, train and get the job done

o Ability to work a flexible schedule

o Previous race experience preferred

o Mechanically inclined and skilled with hand tools

o Basic machine and welding skills

o Excellent attention to details

o Skilled at finding efficient workflow processes

o Proven problem solver

o Must own personal tools

o Must be a team player, and have a high level of integrity
