Assembly Shop Mechanic

Position Overview

Assembly Shop Mechanic primary job responsibility will be to assemble a race car.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Assemble and disassemble race cars (engine, front and rear suspension, oil system, fuel system, brake system, driveline, interior, etc.)

· Installs all parts on the race car

· Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required Skills, Experience and Abilities

To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:

· High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required

· 2+ years of auto mechanic experience

· Experience using hand tools (wrenches, sockets, hammers, Jacks, screw drivers, saws, drills, etc)

· Basic computer skills

· Thorough understanding of mechanical components and car systems

· Ability to assess and react to situations in a fast-paced stressful environment

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Skills to work independently, and operate well under pressure to meet tight deadlines

· Ability to identify and propose solutions to complex issues

· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Ability to drive execution and results
