Position Summary

The digital marketing coordinator will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of RCR's digital marketing strategy and implementation. Day-to-day tasks include graphic design, photo and video production and editing, developing content, maintaining social media channels, and curating a library of digital content. This position requires a results-driven individual who is creative, passionate, detailed-oriented and can work daily with peers and media to drive value for RCR and its partners. The digital marketing coordinator is primarily focused on developing and meeting established objectives and requires both tactical and strategic thinking. The position works closely alongside the Partnership Marketing and Communications teams to ensure maximum value is achieved through creative content and execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must play an integral role within the content team, assisting with photo and video production, post-production editing and archiving footage
  • Collaborate with the partnership marketing and communications teams to understand partners’ objectives and deliver engaging, brand-centric, quality content while always representing the RCR brand
  • Responsible for creating graphic elements for all social channels and specific partner needs
  • Collaborate with the content team to understand and maintain social voice across all channels
  • Adhere to a content planning calendar to meet deadlines
  • Responsible for posting content across RCR’s social media channels, both during the week and race weekends
  • Exercise forethought on ways to represent the RCR brand by using the assets that RCR has readily available to create engaging and compelling content
  • Engage with fans through social media platforms to generate increased favorability and metrics
  • Ability to learn and grow in the digital space to stay on top of emerging trends and technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, in Photography, Videography, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with brands, athletes or influencers in a social media, digital content or sports marketing capacity
  • Experience working with all social media platforms and having a thorough knowledge of the landscape, trends, networks and toolsets
  • Ability and desire to work at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Self-starter and motivator while also being an active team player
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume work environment and meet multiple turnaround deadlines quickly
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, photo & video production and editing software (Adobe creative suite including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere and Audition)
  • Extensive travel required (weekday and weekend)
