Mechanic Level 3

Riley Technologies Inc. is seeking a Junior Level Mechanic (M3) to join its SRO GT World Challenge race program. The position is full time shop based along with travel to race events. This role will report to the Car Chief and work to maintain and prepare GT3 racecars for endurance racing. Candidate must possess mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and overcome challenges in a fast-paced racing environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and inspection of components
• Documentation of brake and clutch wear
• Disassembly of racecar and components as required
• Gather and prepare all required parts, fasteners, and materials for assembly.
• Installation of parts adhering to proper torque specifications and procedures as dictated by manufacturer and team.
• Minor carbon fiber repair and fitment of bodywork
• Other duties as assigned or requested
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in SRO, IMSA, NASCAR, IndyCar, ARCA, or other touring motorsports racing series is preferred. Will consider experience as a mechanic in automotive dealership or similar environment in place of racing experience.
• Ability to use hand tools is required
• Comfortable using computers and digital tools for measurement, documentation, and communication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of processes for disassembly and assembly of automobiles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
