SUMMARY

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Coordinator, Digital Platform based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

The Coordinator, Digital Platform provides coordination for the technical operation of NASCAR’s digital platform (web properties and mobile), including live products, mobile applications, live video streaming, data feeds and digital reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including Platform and Products, Technical, Project, Data Strategy, Marketing, and Content, to understand feature sets and optimal customer journey
  • Analyze usage trends, help define platform strategy and develop a data-driven approach
  • Participate in the day-to-day technical operation plan of the digital platform and user experience, including live digital products, mobile applications, live video streaming, and data feeds
  • Contribute to the defining of KPI's for the business and product performance as well as the design and implementation of reporting dashboards tracking key business metrics
  • Define and develop real-time analytics and reporting flow to maximize optimization efforts
  • Partner with Development, Data Strategy, and Marketing teams to ensure efficient and correct instrumentation of real-time customer journeys
  • Provide user acceptance testing for new Digital Media and Services projects as well as additional, ad-hoc requests from Project Management team
  • Provide weekly quality assurance testing on NASCAR.com digital products, web pages, and other NASCAR Digital Media Services’ sites, ensuring correct online displays and functionality
  • Triage and document digital issues from employees, third-party companies, and stakeholders using department designated tools (Slack, Teams, JIRA, Google Products, etc.)
  • Manage execution of a crisis management plan for internal parties when digital issues arise on the platform and/or any of the products
  • Maintain up-to-date department documents using department designated tools (WordPress, Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
  • Provide support outside of normal business hours when necessary
  • Travel: <5%

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required and four (4) years related digital or e-commerce experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software including Microsoft Office products.
  • Basic understanding of WordPress, Adobe Products, Amazon Web Services, YouTube, Google Products, JIRA, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-starter and ability to drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Competent with statistical tools and techniques for both qualitative and quantitative analysis
