Hauler Driver

LEGACY MOTOR CLUB™ is a professional motor racing club fielding two full-time entries in the NASCAR Cup Series for John Hunter Nemechek and Erik Jones. The Club is based in Statesville, N.C, and co-owned by entrepreneur Maury Gallagher and seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson. NASCAR Hall of famer Richard Petty “The King” is a Club Ambassador.

Our mission at LEGACY MOTOR CLUB is to create an inclusive environment for auto-racing enthusiasts, celebrate the past and future legacies of our partners and team members, and compete for wins and championships at NASCAR’s elite level.

We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Hauler Driver to join our team. Successful candidates should be able to do perform the following essential job functions:

· Must maintain a Class A Commercial Drivers License

· Responsible for the loading and unloading of the transporter

· Inventory management of the transporter

· Cleanliness and general presentation of the transporter for the team and guests

· Ensure that all mobile pit equipment is stocked properly

· Follows all applicable DOT, DMW, State and Federal highway safety rules and regulations

· Meets schedules, timelines and deadlines appropriately and safely.

· Responsible for expense reporting to Accounting in a timely fashion, per company guidelines

· Presents self in appropriate/professional manner while transporting and at venues

· Responsible for ensuring their assigned truck is in safe operating condition

· Responsible for properly completing all logs and records, in a timely manner

· Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver’s logs and time sheets, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A Commercial Driver License
• High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
• 4 plus years of experience
• Satisfactory background check, clean driving record
• Previous race experience preferred
• Basic computer skills, mechanical skills and be detail oriented
• Ability to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule
• Must be a team player with a high level of integrity
