Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will help to support the organization's internal communications, brand marketing efforts (creative, timelines, budget), and public relations projects
  • Assist with PR efforts across the race season including at track driver handling (weekend races) and driver schedule development (requires traveling to at minimum 50% of scheduled races on weekends)
  • Lead the creative process including building creative briefs, collaborating with designers, reviewing comps, and routing artwork through all stakeholders and uploading final artwork to vendors
  • Develop and manage marketing project timelines to ensure milestones are met, keep internal teams organized and on track and executing projects to their full potential
  • Assist with building and managing the marketing budget, routing invoices, and tracking expenditures
  • Assist Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to create authentic and engaging content that resonates with our audience and manage influencer relationships/campaigns to increase brand visibility and credibility
  • Support team in gathering data to compile program recaps to measure performance against KPI’s
  • Assist team with events, shoots and appearances as needed
  • Keep well-informed of emerging trends in marketing and bring forward new and innovative ideas


Required Skills & Experience

To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following capabilities

  • Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field is required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, project management or related field is required
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize work and multitask over a wide range of duties
  • Experience working in a professional sports or entertainment environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software or similar software
  • Strong planning, project management, attention to detail and organization skills
  • Strong work ethic and reliable
  • Curiosity around data driven metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including traveling on the weekends to approximately 18 races
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to foster positive relationships among peers, managers, and organizational partners
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Skills to work independently, and operate well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to drive execution and results
