Front Row Motorsports (FRM) is a competitive team in the NASCAR Cup Series, founded in 2004 and owned by Bob Jenkins. The team fields three full-time entries in the NASCAR Cup Series, the No. 4, No. 34 and No. 38, and two full-time entries in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the No. 34 and No. 38. Achieving multiple victories, including wins at the 2021 Daytona 500, Talladega Superspeedway in 2013, and a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship in 2022, FRM has made significant progress in its pursuit of success both on and off the track. Duties:
Overall Partnership Management
▪ Serve as primary contact for assigned partners, with responsibility for establishing and maintaining day to-day relationships with partner and / or partner agency leads.
▪ Obtain a full understanding of partner’s business and objectives to determine best ways for those to fit within the Front Row Motorsports partnership and assets available to the partner for utilization.
▪ Manage, organize and distribute contractual assets in order to support effective partnership activation. Contractual assets include but aren’t limited to car and team asset designs, VIP access credentials, hospitality passes / grandstand tickets, parking passes, VIP experiences and additional elements.
▪ Lead the development of marketing activation programs for each partner managed, while working closely with other others within the Marketing and Communications department, as well as other departments withing Front Row Motorsports.
▪ Create added value type programs, above and beyond requirements directly mentioned in partnership agreements.
▪ Develop, fulfill and execute onboarding and renewal of partner agreements.
▪ Prepare and present partnership recaps that represent the success and value of partner investment.
Partnership Communication:
▪ Front Row Motorsports lead on all direct dialogue with assigned partners, including agreed upon update meetings.
▪ Clear and consistent communication with assigned partners regarding team and industry updates.
▪ Timely distribution of partnership assets, related marketing materials, event resources and other related documents for internal and external stakeholders.
▪ Communication to Executive Director, Marketing and Communications and Sr. Director, Marketing Communications on important partnership updates, needs or issues.
At-Track / Event Management
▪ Support the development, management and execution of at-track partner experiences and activities, including but not limited to driver meet and greets and / or appearances, guided garage and / or hauler tours, pre-race grid activities and in-race team pit box viewing.
▪ Interact in a professional manner with both assigned and other partner guests, Front Row Motorsports team members, media, track and sanctioning body staff and vendors.
▪ Support other Front Row Motorsports Marketing and Communications department team members, as needed and requested by the Executive Director, Marketing and Communications and Sr. Director, Marketing and Communications.
Required Skills / Experience:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
▪ Minimum of three (3) years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorship activation, account management, sports marketing, agency event marketing or related field.
▪ Experience supporting and managing corporate partnerships, including onboarding, activation execution, contractual fulfillment, reporting and renewals.
▪ Ability to contribute creative ideas and enhance marketing-related campaigns.
▪ Ability to manage internal and external communication while balancing priorities with expectations.
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
▪ This position does require the ability to travel, based on the requirements listed.
▪ Employee will be required to sit; stand; walk; use hands; and occasionally lift upwards of 50 lbs.
▪ Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to adapt in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.
Other Job Details:
▪ Travel will be a mixture of “Full Weekend” (primarily Friday morning through Sunday evening, with some earlier week travel involved) and “Race Day Only” (NASCAR Cup Series race day), with weather postponements also being a factor in travel.
▪ Front Row Motorsports provides all transportation and accommodations during travel weekends.
▪ Front Row Motorsports travels through private aviation out of Statesville Regional Airport.
▪ A per diem of $25 per day will be paid for each travel day, submitted to employee through direct deposit.
▪ Employees that travel “Full Weekend” will be provided the Thursday prior to travel and the Monday after travel off.
▪ Employees that travel “Race Day Only” will be provided the Monday after travel off.
