Associate Producer

As a critical member of Racing America’s team, the Associate Producer will help build and create

video content and video content strategy across all of our media channels. The ideal candidate is a

creative mind with content creation and strong video editing experience, who can collaborate and

communicate across multiple teams. We are looking for a team player who can help manage and

run productions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Aid team in producing original content, managing camera crews and overseeing post production of shoot elements.

Strong editing skills needed with the ability to produce and edit a job to completion. We welcome creative editing styles!

Develop and execute original content ideas for short and long format programming.

Help our team organize and manage existing content, and repurpose content for different applications.

Help manage the Racing America 24/7 FAST channel with programming, uploading and organizing in Frequency Studio.

Aid to coordinate content distribution strategy across internal teams.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Ability to edit on Adobe Premiere. Experience in After Effects, Photoshop and Canva is a plus.

Ability to quick turn edits from daily shoots.

Experience as a Producer, running a small camera crew on site.

Ability to manage a shoot schedule and create shot lists.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

Communicate and collaborate effectively and professionally across departments and with clients.

Basic knowledge of racing.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

● Experience with live event production, including producing and graphic operations in vMix

● Trans Am and grassroots short track racing knowledge a plus

● Understanding of the backend / posting on YouTube a plus

● Creating catchy YouTube thumbnails a plus

LOCATION:

● Fully remote but will need to be located in Charlotte, NC. Some travel required.
