About IROC

IROC (International Race of Champions) is a series that held races from 1973 to 2006, which brought together the greatest drivers from all forms of motorsport to race identical cars on historic tracks for an all-star extravaganza.

In early 2024, NASCAR Hall of Fame member Ray Evernham and former NASCAR Cup Series team owner and venture capitalist Rob Kauffman founded IROC Holdings LLC and announced they had acquired the rights to the

IROC brand. These events are designed to deliver an unmatched fan experience, offering close access to iconic cars and star drivers, while also fostering an enjoyable atmosphere for participating drivers and IROC car owners.

Together, these elements create a highly engaging platform for series partners to activate.

Position Overview

IROC is seeking a creative, self-driven Social Media Manager to oversee and execute content across all social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about motorsports, storytelling, and digital content creation. The ideal candidate will not only manage posting and engagement but also capture and produce high-quality visual content, including photography and short-form video.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management

o Plan, create, and execute a content calendar across all social platforms

o Write compelling captions and maintain a consistent brand voice

o Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and interact with fans

o Track performance metrics and optimize content strategy accordingly

• Content Creation

o Capture high-quality photography at events, behind-the-scenes moments, and promotional shoots

o Shoot and edit short-form video content for social media

o Cut together race clips, archival footage, and highlight moments into engaging videos

• Event Coverage

o Attend select IROC events to provide real-time social media coverage

o Coordinate with drivers, partners, and team members to capture key moments

o Deliver timely content during and immediately following events

• Brand & Growth

o Help grow IROC’s digital presence and audience across all platforms

o Identify opportunities for fan engagement, partnerships, and viral content

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, team, or organization

• Strong photography skills (professional or high-level amateur)

• Proficiency in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)

• Passion for motorsports is strongly preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days
