Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Event and Facility Supervisor to lead the management and maintenance of our dynamic venue. In this role, you will oversee the smooth operation of event setups, facility maintenance, and safety protocols, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests and participants. Your leadership will drive team coordination, uphold safety standards, and optimize facility performance to support our diverse range of activities.

This new position will join our full-time staff including Owner, General Manager, Communications Director, Operations Manager, Office Administrator, Food & Beverage Manager, and our full-time maintenance crew.

Qualifications:

· Experience in drag racing with a race team, a track, or racing series. THIS IS A MUST.

· Looking for an upbeat person, with good people skills, work ethic, strong character, fast learner and problem-solving skills.

· Able to hustle and meet demands of an event from start to completion.

· Reside within a reasonable proximity of MIR or willing to relocate to our area.

· Mechanically inclined.

· A background in timing systems or electrical and track prep is a plus, but not required (we can teach it)

· Looking for long-term employment with MIR.

· Microsoft word and excel experience is a plus

Duties:

· Assist with hiring, scheduling, and training of part-time track staff.

· Assist with track prep at facility.

· Organize weekday track rentals.

· Order consumables, track supplies, and more.

· Oversee track opening and closing each night and supervising race day in between.

Schedule:

· This is a year-round full-time position.

· Race Season (Mar-Nov): Working 6 days a week, some weekends off during the race season

· Off Season (Dec-Feb): Working 5 days a week, Mon-Fri weekday hours only

Compensation:
