Cup Body Production Fabricator

Front Row Motorsports is seeking an experienced fabricator/body hanger to support Cup Series body and underwing production. This candidate needs hands-on experience with fabrication and assembly of current NASCAR Cup Series cars and components. This candidate also requires strong attention to detail in conjunction with the ability to perform, deliver, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, prepare, and install body and underwing components on race vehicles with precision
• Measure components with CMM articulated arms and optical scanning devices
• Work with and collaborate closely with fabrication, assembly, and road crew team members
• Ensure all components meet and exceed NASCAR and FRM specifications and quality standards prior to race events.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with Front Row Motorsports standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience with NASCAR Cup Series race vehicles
• Familiarity with NASCAR technical inspection processes and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with fabrication tools and techniques for metallic and composite components.
• Experience using metrology equipment such as portable CMMs, optical scanners, and measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and with precision under given time constraints.
• Effective communication skills and proficiency with computers and software including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint/OneDrive, and CMM/Metrology-specific software (Autodesk PowerInspect, PCDMIS, Polyworks, or equivalent).
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and off-shift schedules as required

Physical Demands:

• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – welding helmet, hand protection, safety glasses, and hearing protection when required.
• Tolerance for long periods of standing, kneeling, overhead work, under-car work, etc.
• Tolerance for short periods of moderate lifting.
