About Esses: Founded in 2019, Esses Racing is run by a core group of motorsport professionals with experience in NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, and Formula 1. We provide premium racing services offering track day and race support, driver development and coaching, race car maintenance/tuning, and engine co mputer maintenance and repair. The shop is split into 3 departments: GT Prototype, Street Cars, and Sport Racer.

We are looking for experienced full time motorsports truck driver for our IMSA Program with candidate located within commuting distance of Esses Racing (Buda,Tx). They will be responsible for the maintenance of trucks and equipment and be able to provide support to the team at events as key aspects of this role.

Experience & Qualifications

3 years min. as truck driver

1 year min. racing experience as a truckie

Valid Clean CDL License

Must be able to comply to ELD regulations

Passport is essential for travel to Canada and Europe

Responsibilities
• Driving semi truck and trailer to all test and race events for the IMSA Weathertech Series
• Operating truck and trailer in a safe and legal manner at all times
• Checking and maintaining the quality of equipment and supplies
• Including updating annual truck/trailer inspections
• Must be willing to aid in pit stops during race events
• Logistical Work at events
• Set up and dismantling of pit/garage items (tent, awnings) including setting up all necessary equipment
• Ensure professional presentation and cleanliness of trucks, garage, and paddock space at all times
• Tire and Wheel handling at race events and shop
• Manage and prepare race day tires : tire checking, assigning, marking, balancing, and heating
• Race car fuel management
