Race Car Mechanic

The individual will ensure that all components of the car are secured and working properly and that all work lists have been completed. The candidate must be versatile and able to work on all aspects of a race car.

We are looking for an employee with a good attitude who enjoys working in a team environment and has a high level of experience assembling and repairing race cars. This position is predominantly shop based in Mooresville NC, but you will be required to travel to some test and race events throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly of race cars & components ranging from suspension, engine systems, bodywork, and interior components.
• Maintenance services, repairs, and reconstruction work.
• Light Fabrication and welding.
• Clean work areas daily.
• Assist as needed to clean, organize, restock, and load and unload the race car transporters.
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional (NASCAR, INDYCAR, ARCA, IMSA, High Level Short Track Racing) racing experience in preparation and maintenance
• Professional presentation, attitude, and strong work ethic.

Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs.
