Road Crew Mechanic

Job title: Mechanic/Road Crew

Essential Duties:

• Services/Installs suspension/brake system components.
• Works with manufacturing engineering/production to select the appropriate
• Installs/maintains brake systems/brake cooling systems.
• Maintains rear suspension components.
• Maintains exhaust system/underneath components at the track.
• Any other duties as requested by the Shop Manager and/or Crew chief/car chief.
• Requires arm strength to lift light/medium objects during assembly of
• Requires standing for approx. 75% of the day.
• Requires fine hand manipulation for assembly of components.
• Requires bending over for approx. 75% of the day.
• Requires lying on the ground and working from underneath the vehicle.

Suspension/brake components needed for a particular part/project/process.
