Mechanic – Brake Department

We currently have a full-time opening in our brake department.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and rebuilding brake system components
• Quality checking all components
• Installing and maintaining brake systems on race cars
• Building and prepping brake components
• Documentation and tracking of serviced parts
• Organize and stock brake component inventory
• Measuring brake system components
• Fitting carbon parts to components
• Recording information (Excel)
• Communicate updates and changes to race teams
• Plan component turn around within a 38-event race schedule

Qualifications

• 2 Years minimum of racetrack or race shop mechanical experience
• General knowledge of racing brake systems
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and self-motivate
• Working in and on race cars in confined spaces
• Ability to lift heavy rotors
