Vehicle Setup Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Setup Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing race cars to meet team specifications and comply with NASCAR regulations. This position is critical to deliver competitive, compliant vehicles that meet the highest performance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist team with final vehicle build including installation of brake hoses, ballast, anti-roll bars, etc
- Set spring pre-load and heights using Accu-Force Spring Compressor
- Operate Romer Arms, GOM Scanners, and other scanning / metrology equipment
- Adjust suspension component location and shim kits to achieve kinematic parameters
- Torque and index all suspension component fasteners per provided specification sheet
- Input pertinent electronic data into a proprietary database
- Clean and maintain coil-over shock assemblies
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Required Skills, Experience and Abilities
To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
- 3+ years of experience in a top-tier motorsports program
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Experience in operating portable coordinate measurement arms required; Romer Arm preferred
- Experience in general race car setup procedures and techniques
- Experience reading build sheets and general knowledge of NASCAR rules & tolerances
- Experienced in using basic hand tools, power tools, and operating shop equipment
- Experience with damper re-valving is highly desirable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skills to work independently and in group settings
- Ability to operate well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Legally eligible to live and work in the United States
