Electrical System Technician
Job Description
The Electrical System Technician is responsible for the post-race disassembly of the vehicle’s electrical system. He or She must work with other departments to perform car disassembly. He or She must have the ability to disassemble, clean, service and document written and electronic forms. This position supports the shop and track side production electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Post Race car system disassembly, Service of Electrical system.
- Basic testing of electrical sensors, wire components, connectors, Battery
- Clean and service parts
- Support rapid turnaround car schedules.
- Other duties assigned
Skills Required
- Needs to have Race car electrical system knowledge.
- Ability to use Std Hand tools (crimping, cutters, wrenches, circuit tester, soldering)
- Organization skill, finish task on time
- Work in Team setting.
- Ability to work under time schedule.
- Basic Computer skills
- Communication skills ability to write clearly and concisely.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to Walk, stand, climb (short heights) stools.
- Ability to lift / carry 25lbs regularly / Occasionally 50lbs.
- Frequent Bending, kneeling, and getting into awkward spaces.
- Able to work around Shop Equipment safely.
