Positions Summary:
We are currently seeking 3-4 highly detail-oriented individuals to join our fabrication team. The Fab Shop role is open to internal and external candidates. Successful applicants will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong computer literacy, and eagerness to learn and use industry-specific software, including Rome Arms and scanning tools. We are looking for multiple people with a range of skill levels.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble body panels and body parts for JGR Cup cars.
- Measure and meet tolerance requirements per engineering build specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with NASCAR rules, and JGR quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong computer skills; able to quickly learn new industry-specific software.
- Willing to adapt and grow with new systems and workflows.
- Previous experience in fabrication or shop work preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience using portable CMM’s (Romer arms) is a plus.
- Desire to work in a collaborative, demanding, and fast-paced development environment.
- Flexibility in work hours and patience with a dynamic schedule.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the team.
- Previous experience in NASCAR Cup, NXS, or Truck series is a significant advantage but not required.
