Truck Team General Mechanic – Shop position

Position Overview

Front Row Motorsports is looking to add a shop mechanic specializing in interior, wiring and brake systems to our Championship winning CRAFTSMAN Truck Series team. The duties may include all or some of the items listed below.

Job Responsibilities

• Install components to the race trucks as directed by the Assembly Manager and Truck team leadership. Maintain expected levels of quality in work.
• Inspect all parts of the vehicle for correct installation and no damage.
• Take accountability for an area of the vehicle and own the maintenance and quality of all items of which responsible.
• Assist other Mechanics in all aspects of work done to the vehicle in preparation to go to the race track.
• Various other support tasks in assisting team members with preparing race vehicles or in shop maintenance duties including general assembly of all components.

Desired Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in motorsports at any level
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, knowledge of Ilmor harnesses a plus
• High School Graduate or GED
• Proficient hands-on skills working on vehicles
• Knowledge of NASCAR rules
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in a demanding industry
• Ability to think and react fast in a stressful environment
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
