Social Media & Web Intern – Texas Drift Academy

Pay: $20/hour
Hours: 15–25 hours per week (flexible)

Position Overview
We’re looking for a creative, tech-savvy, and self-motivated Social Media & Web Intern to help us grow our digital presence and reach new audiences. You’ll work directly with our leadership and creative teams on social content, website updates, light video and design projects, and SEO improvements. This is a hands-on role where your work will be seen by thousands — and occasionally filmed, featured, or driven on the track.
What You’ll Do
Social Media & Content
- Develop, schedule, and publish posts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Capture and edit short-form video clips from track days and car builds
- Write captions, hashtags, and storylines that fit the brand voice
- Engage with fans, reply to comments, and highlight student experiences
Web & SEO
- Update and maintain website pages (WordPress / Webflow / Shopify or similar CMS)
- Assist in optimizing pages for keywords
- Add photos, blog articles, and new media content to improve site freshness
- Track analytics and recommend SEO improvements
Design & AI
- Use Photoshop, Canva, or Figma for simple graphic and thumbnail design
- Help experiment with AI tools for content creation, copywriting, and automation
- Assist in designing promotional materials for events and partnerships
Qualifications
- Strong interest in cars, motorsports, or creative digital marketing
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and social media trends
- Basic video editing skills (Premiere, CapCut, or similar)
- Basic Photoshop or Canva experience
- Comfort updating websites or learning CMS tools
- Bonus: experience with ChatGPT, Midjourney, or other AI creative tools
- Must be reliable, organized, and eager to learn by doing
