Join our dynamic Motorsports team as a dedicated IT Specialist. In this exciting role, you will be the bridge between the Information Technology and Motorsports groups. Your primary focus will be on managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure at racetracks, ensuring seamless network and IT operations during race events. While you will also play a role in IT strategy, your main emphasis will be on hands-on, trackside responsibilities. Support the Race Operations production environment, including maintaining key resources.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This role will support all motorsports information technology needs both at the office and at racetracks around the globe. Extensive travel and time commitments required.
• Manage and maintain trackside computer networks, including initial internet setup for race events.
• Configure and maintain layer 2 and 3 devices at race venues.
• Manage cyber security posture of motorsports endpoints. Prioritize functionality for race team members while implementing security tools and best practices where necessary.
• Maintain remote operations infrastructure to connect trackside and shop-based team members. This will include configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the remote operations domain, VPN, user access controls, and endpoint devices.
• Respond to application, networking, and other IT issues that arise within motorsports.
• Accommodate trackside needs for guests and executives including internet access, race broadcast viewing, and radio or intercom setup.

Collaborate with the broader IT team to develop a resilient infrastructure that allows the racing teams to focus on their primary objectives.
• Create and maintain high-level architecture diagrams for all race operational tools.
• Coordinate with IT for acquiring necessary materials for racing networks and other IT requirements.
• Schedule and execute laptop and network upgrades.
• Continuously seek improvements in IT infrastructure.
• Ensure that all security protocols are followed, and necessary tools are installed and functioning.

This role will support all motorsports information technology needs both at the office and at racetracks around the globe. Extensive travel and time commitments required.

Requirements:
• Willingness to travel to races, both within the US and internationally. Travel may be required for up to 100 days per year.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of IT experience, with a strong focus on Networks and Security.
• Desired experience with IT strategy, including IT portfolio management.
