NASCAR Event Management seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Part Time Official for NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour.

The Part Time Official position will implement and apply appropriate pit road and race procedures at race events.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Implement and apply the appropriate pit road and race procedures in a consistent, timely and professional manner.
• Establish and maintain proper communications with the assigned crew chief(s) and Race Control as required.
• Properly execute and confirm any directive from Race Control.
• Responsible for securing equipment (e.g. binoculars, watch, flags, radios) for duties assigned and for performing routine checks on same.

Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in all Company software and hardware.
• Valid Driver License
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with the race schedule and event calendar.
• Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling assigned shifts and responsibilities according to the race schedule and event calendar.
• Approximate travel: 90%
