Facility Technician/Janitor - 2nd Shift

JOB SUMMARY

To provide general support to the facility team with regards to upkeep of the entire facility and is responsible for completing the janitorial tasks to preserve the quality of the facility. We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform general janitorial tasks with some light maintenance duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES

• Perform various custodial/janitorial duties such as cleaning, mopping, and sanitizing areas.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks to ensure cleanliness and safety of the facility.
• General janitorial and light groundskeeping including emptying of trash receptacles.
• Assist the facilities department by reporting any repairs or replacements as needed.
• Operate equipment for floor cleaning by the standards of the facility.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet standards.
• Assist with the maintenance of the facility.
• Keeping an inventory repair supplies
• Keeping work area clean and organized at all times
• Provide assistance to other team members on other duties as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years facility janitorial/maintenance experience
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills interfacing at all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to effectively interface with team members at all levels
